The compact device is specifically designed for use in the engine compartment and transmits Pulsating sine-wave ultrasound tones with approx. 23 kHz These sounds, inaudible to humans, are extremely unpleasant for martens and reliably drive them out of the protected area.
Thanks to the 180° wide beam angle and the special Side-firing speakers The entire engine compartment is optimally covered with sound. This ensures that even hard-to-reach areas are reached and so-called "sound shadows" are avoided – a crucial advantage over conventional devices.
The Power is supplied via the 12V vehicle electrical system. The vehicle's battery is protected by an integrated voltage protection system, preventing discharge in modern start-stop systems. Installation is simple, the device starts automatically when the vehicle is stationary, and requires no maintenance.
