K&K M9700 - The AUTAKE marten deterrent device
- High voltage (electric fence principle): "Those who will not hear must feel!" Older martens (different hearing behavior) or very aggressive animals (territorial fights) can sometimes only be driven away by electric shocks.
- Multi-contact high-voltage brushes: These brushes penetrate the insulating fur, and – in addition to paws and muzzle – the effective area is increased many times over by the amount of skin. Furthermore, they allow for installation independent of the environment.
- Pulsating sine wave ultrasound with omnidirectional ultrasound radiation: Our marten deterrents imitate the animals' warning cries very realistically and extremely loudly. This is effective and prevents habituation. The dome speaker emits the sound waves in all directions over 360°. This eliminates sound shadows and provides all-around protection against martens!
- Waterproof 2.0: IP65-standard waterproof encapsulated electronics and a completely sealed speaker allow for deep installation even in splash zones. Even engine washes are no problem.
- Self-sufficient battery device: Battery operation allows high-voltage devices to be operated completely independently of the vehicle's electrical system. This is particularly useful for electric vehicles, motorhomes, and classic cars. u.a. Long operating times are advantageous. A low-battery LED indicator provides early warning should the device's batteries run out.
A notice: Included in the delivery are no Batteries included. (requires 4x AA 1.5V batteries)
The M9700 is battery-operated and delivers electric shocks to the marten when it touches one of the six multi-contact high-voltage brushes in the engine compartment (shocks that only deter the marten, but do not kill it). The innovative multi-contact high-voltage brushes sweep through the fur, and—in addition to the paws and muzzle—the effective area is extended by the skin, thus multiplying its reach many times over. The multi-contact high-voltage brushes can be positioned anywhere, allowing for flexible shielding tailored to the specific vehicle. The separation of the control unit (visible at the top) and the ultrasonic transmitter (radiating freely at the bottom) allows for strategic installation. The ultrasonic transmitter emits very strong, aggressively pulsating ultrasonic tones within a 360° radius. These tones vary randomly in frequency and cadence, preventing any habituation effect. Its waterproof design allows for deep installation at entry points. Safe battery operation is ensured by the low-battery indicator and reactive power protection. The device can be expanded with 4 multi-contact high-voltage brushes if required (accessories).
