The original Volkswagen bicycle carrier 000071128F allows for the safe transport of a bicycle on the vehicle roof. The combination of a sturdy wheel rail and an intelligent frame holder ensures automatic positioning of the bicycle and even weight distribution. Thanks to its convenient mounting height, the bicycle can be easily secured even on larger vehicles.

The integrated torque limiter in the rotary knob controls the force applied to the bicycle frame, reliably protecting sensitive frames. Large, soft pads on the frame holder ensure secure fixation without damage. The wheels are stably secured using diagonally guided rim straps with quick-release fasteners.

The bicycle carrier can be mounted on either side of the vehicle roof and is not direction-dependent. Switching it from one side of the vehicle to the other is easily done without tools. Additionally, both the bicycle and the carrier can be locked to the roof rack or crossbar. The bicycle carrier meets Volkswagen's high safety standards and is City Crash Plus certified.
