Volkswagen Genuine Coolant G12evo is a high-quality coolant additive available as a ready-to-use mixture in a 5-liter canister. Its primary purpose is to provide optimal engine protection against overheating, corrosion, and frost. Thanks to the additives it contains, G12evo forms a protective film on the metal surfaces in the cooling circuit, preventing corrosion and effectively reducing deposits and limescale buildup. Thanks to its monoethylene glycol-based composition, G12evo meets the strict requirements of the Volkswagen Technical Delivery Specifications (TL 774-L) and is suitable for both combustion engines and alternative drive systems. Its antifreeze protection down to -35°C ensures reliable engine cooling even under extreme conditions.

The previous coolant versions G11, G12, G12+, G12++ and G13 have been replaced by the manufacturer – currently only the modernized G12evo available.

G12evo is miscible with older coolant versions (G11, G12, G12+, G12++, G13), allowing for a smooth transition or refilling existing systems without any problems. The optimized material compatibility ensures that rubber and plastic seals in the cooling circuit remain intact. Due to the specified VW standard, the product is ideally tailored to the requirements of modern engines and not only protects against frost but also prevents engine overheating. Thanks to its high temperature resistance and balanced composition, the cooling performance remains constant and potential cracking in the cylinder block is prevented.

No further mixing with water is necessary for filling. The 5-liter canister has a shelf life of five years from the date of manufacture if stored in a sealed container. It is important to use the coolant according to the instructions in the owner's manual or the manufacturer's recommendations to maintain optimal engine performance and avoid premature wear.
