The genuine Volkswagen LongLife III FE high-performance engine oil is ideal for modern gasoline and diesel engines equipped with particulate filters. The only exception to this rule is the R5/V10 TDI models prior to model year 2006. Starting in 2021, all vehicles factory-filled with the VW 504.00/507.00 0W-30 specification must use this oil. This regulation applies regardless of the individual maintenance intervals in each country. The special features of this oil are its particularly low ash content and fuel-saving properties. It ensures the required service life of exhaust gas aftertreatment systems, especially diesel particulate filter systems (DPF), without the need for fuel additives.

Storage instructions:

The manufacturer states a shelf life of 48 months from the date of manufacture, provided the original packaging has not been opened. Storage should take place at temperatures between -20 and +50 °C, and the containers must be protected from sunlight, frost, and water ingress.
