Electrician required for connection
In accordance with § 14a of the German Energy Industry Act (EnWG), the CUPRA Wallbox can be controlled using various communication protocols and systems. These include OCPP (Open Charge Point Protocol) and EEBus. Of course, it can also be controlled by a HEMS (Home Energy Management System), which may already be available in combination with a photovoltaic system (PV system). It is also possible for the grid operator to provide a ripple control receiver. In this case, the grid operator can also regulate the power of the wallbox and throttle it if necessary.
