Electrician required for connection!
According to Section 14a of the German Energy Industry Act (EnWG), the CUPRA Wallbox can be controlled via various communication protocols and systems. These include OCPP (Open Charge Point Protocol) and EEBus. Of course, control can also be provided by a HEMS (Home Energy Management System), which may already be present in combination with a photovoltaic (PV) system. Additionally, the grid operator can provide a ripple control receiver. In this case, the grid operator can also regulate the wallbox's power and, if necessary, throttle it.
